The fourth Arab Housing Conference, held in Riyadh, concluded on Thursday with experts recommending the construction of urban communities rather than housing complexes, reported Arab News on Monday.
The conference also recommended to create an infrastructure favoring the concept of public-private partnership to develop the housing sector and to improve the framework for the private sector.
Further recommendations included the training of qualified legal staff and the continuous evaluation of housing policies. Participants of the conference included many Arab housing ministers, government body officials, researchers and company representatives.
