The delegation, led by Chairman Ahmed Gamal El-Din and accompanied by company employees and clients, aimed to gain firsthand understanding of the hospital’s medical services while supporting its humanitarian mission, Invest-Gate reports.
The delegation was welcomed by Amr Mohy El-Din, Communications Manager at Alnas Hospital, who provided a comprehensive presentation on the hospital’s history and key medical departments, before guiding the visitors on a tour of several departments to observe the workflow and services provided to patients.
During the visit, Arabian Mark Developments announced a financial contribution to the hospital, reflecting its belief in the importance of active community engagement and supporting medical institutions that provide free treatment services in line with the highest global standards.
Ahmed Gamal El-Din, Chairman of Arabian Mark Developments, stated that the visit reflects the company’s belief that its role extends beyond urban development to include supporting society and humanity.
He said that Alnas Hospital represents an exemplary model of institutional philanthropy, guided by a clear humanitarian vision and making a real impact on the lives of thousands of patients.
He added that the company is keen to involve its employees and clients in such initiatives to foster a culture of giving and social responsibility, supporting organizations that prioritize human well-being.
For his part, Amr Mohy El-Din, Communications Director at Alnas Hospital, expressed his appreciation for the visit by the Arabian Mark Developments delegation, highlighted that support from national companies is a key factor in sustaining the hospital’s free medical services.
Mohy El-Din disclosed that Alnas Hospital is not merely a healthcare initiative, but a major humanitarian vision that began with the idea of the late entrepreneur Hajj Khamis Asfour, founder of Crystal Asfour Factories, who believed in every person’s right to receive high-quality medical care. His motto was, “Treat the Needy the Way the Wealthy Would Wish to Be Treated”.
He pointed out that the hospital was built on a charitable endowment in Shubra El-Kheima, spanning over 30,000 sqm. It comprises seven floors with a capacity of approximately 600 beds, 10 operating rooms, 48 outpatient clinics, and 148 intensive care beds, and officially began operations in 2019.
Alnas Hospital’s Communications Director explained that the hospital has gradually expanded its services to include treatment for pediatric and adult heart diseases, complex gastrointestinal disorders in collaboration with Dr. Karim Abu El-Magd, and the opening of a pediatric diabetes department in partnership with Dr. Osama Hamdy, Professor of Internal Medicine and Diabetes at Harvard University.
The hospital also features a comprehensive burns unit and is preparing to launch a pediatric liver transplant unit, which will serve as a lifeline for many critical cases.
Gamal El-Din said that the hospital’s motto, “Alnas Hospital… People for the People,” reflects its philosophy of providing free medical care at the highest possible standards, noted that support from institutions and national companies directly contributes to sustaining and expanding this humanitarian vision.
