Arabtec Holding’s wholly-owned subsidiary Target Engineering Construction Company (Target) has been awarded an AED 192 mn deal from Ellington Properties for Wilton Park Residence project in Al Merkadh, Dubai, Invest-Gate reports.
The contract’s scope includes mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) of Wilton Park Residence, in addition to construction, landscaping, and irrigation works for the project’s 12-story residential twin-towers, according to the company’s statement on May 28.
Works on site, due to commence immediately, will take a 24-month period, the statement noted.
Commenting on the contract win, Arabtec’s Acting Group CEO Peter Pollard remarked, “We are delighted that Ellington has had the confidence to award Target its second project, highlighting the importance of solid relationships and delivery.”
Currently, Target is carrying out Ellington’s prestigious residential property project “DT1” in Downtown Dubai, which was voted in July 2017 the “Best Residential High-Rise” during the eighth annual awards ceremony of the Middle East Architect Awards, owing to its design, from the inside out.
