UAE’s Arabtec Holding said its wholly-owned subsidiary Target Engineering has been awarded two key contracts valued at AED 210 mn in UAE, Trade Arabia reports.
Valued at AED 84 million, the first contract was awarded by Adnoc Offshore to carry out the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) works for the replacement of existing Slug Catchers, equipment used in the upstream oil production facilities, at the Satah Plant on Zirku Island, Abu Dhabi.
Arabtec’s unit said it will begin work on the project and will finalize it by the first quarter of 2022.
The other contract is worth AED 126 million, excluding the main consultant’s fees, for the construction of mixed-use development, Sunset Square, in the UAE capital.
Target will handle the construction of a 19-story commercial tower with a total built-up area of 27,000 square meters. Work will start soon on the project and is due for completion within 30 months, it added.
