Egypt’s real estate developer ARCO Developments appointed Brazilian football star Neymar Da Silva Santos Junior as a brand ambassador for Egypt and the Arab world, Invest-Gate reports.
The company chose Neymar, who is a well-known member of the Brazilian national football team, to promote its name in MENA region while it prepared for new developments.
The contract covers the Middle East and North Africa, according to ARCO’s released statements.
“We are as passionate about football as we are about developing world-class residential and commercial communities in Egypt. We are delighted that Neymar will be the first owner of a property in our Neymar Lagoon at the company’s CityStars Sahel,” says Aur Capital Chairman and CEO and ARCO’s Executive President Ashraf Salman.
Neymar will promote the company’s Citystars Sahel that was launched last summer and Lavande community in 6th of October City will be named in his honor. The footballer’s signature will also feature in Golden Coast Sharm EL Sheikh community.
The renowned football player states that he feels a special bond not only between Egypt and football, but also between Egypt and Brazilians and his adopted home in Spain.
