Head of New October City Development Authority Adel El Naggar announced that asphalt is being laid on roads of the social housing project located in section D of the 800-acre neighborhood, Invest-Gate reports.

El Naggar added that utilities, telecommunications, and road lighting works are underway in the neighborhood, according to a ministerial statement on May 3.

The authority sterilized public transportation vehicles and commercial centers, while raising health awareness among residents amid the coronavirus pandemic, the statement highlighted.

Earlier, El Naggar highlighted the necessity to meet deadlines for the implementation of Badya residential project yet with high quality and efficiency.

During an on-site tour conducted by El Naggar back then, accompanied by several officials from the authority and the project’s development company, he affirmed that taking precautionary measures is a must to safeguard the project’s workers from COVID-19.
