Two facilities projects have been completed in the Aswan governorate at a total investment cost of EGP 184 million, according to Minister of Housing Mostafa Madbouly.
One of the projects is an expansion of a water treatment plant located in Gabl Shesha in Aswan at a cost EGP 120 million aiming to increase the amount of water in Aswan’s water network in villages of Abo El Reesh and Al Aqab. Expansions are expected to enhance the existing water treatment plant by 40%.
The Gabl Shesha project will go through trial on 15 January, while the other project includes construction of facilities to 7,752 social housing and national housing units located in Al Sadka area at a cost of EGP 64 million.
Madbouly also stated that inner networks within the residential buildings have been finalized, in addition to six rural sanitation projects within the upcoming two weeks.
