All reclamation work is now complete at the Saada West development in the Muharraq area of Bahrain, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reports.

The seafront property is being constructed by Bahrain Real Estate Investment (Edamah), the real estate arm of the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat).

The seafront development is expected to be completed by May 2019 and operations are targeted to begin in June of the same year.

Saada West will house a promenade with family entertainment, offering an experience of harbourside dining and a modern marina hosting an array of boats.

“The second phase in which contracting works are to take place is about to start and we expect to award a contractor for the project by May 2018,” added AlRumaihi.

The second phase of the Saada West development includes the construction of seven buildings with a total of 45 retail and food and beverage units in addition to a multistory car park building.
