Barwa Developments has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Telecom Egypt (WE) to provide comprehensive communication and smart technology services across all its developments, in line with its strategy to create fully integrated, technology-powered projects, Invest-Gate reports.
Ahmed Rageh, Chairman of Barwa Developments, said the partnership reflects the company’s commitment to delivering seamless, modern experiences for its clients through advanced digital infrastructure that aligns with international standards and Egypt’s digital transformation vision. He noted that the collaboration will enhance smart infrastructure in the company’s projects, offering customers innovative solutions and superior connectivity.
Ahmed Alsakoot, Senior Director of Enterprise at Telecom Egypt (WE), emphasized the company’s role in equipping Barwa’s developments with state-of-the-art communication technologies to support the transition toward smart cities. He added that the partnership underlines Telecom Egypt’s commitment to supporting the real estate sector with innovative services that improve quality of life and reinforce Egypt’s digital infrastructure leadership.
Amr Attia, Chief Commercial Officer at Barwa Developments, stated that the collaboration will boost operational efficiency, enhance investment value, and ensure clients receive the highest returns on their units. He highlighted Barwa’s mixed-use development strategy, noting its portfolio of four commercial malls in Shorouk City—Hub5 Mall, Barwa Mall, Central Mall, and Center Point—alongside numerous residential projects.
