DMG Events announces that the Big 5 Construct Egypt, part of a global network of construction professionals, will take place during June 25-27 at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC), Invest-Gate reports.
The three-day event will host professionals and product suppliers in order to create Egypt’s growing construction project market.
The exhibition runs under the patronage of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly and will be inaugurated by Minister Assem El Gazzar. Also, the Egyptian Armed Forces Engineering Authority will participate in the event for the first time this year.
It is worth mentioning that the exhibition is considered the only construction event supported by the Egyptian Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities.
The press conference announcement sees many key industry players, including Atter Hannoura, director at PPP Central Unit Ministry of Finance, Mohamed Eldahshoury, CEO of Hassan Allam Construction (HAC), Ahmed Abdallah, vice chairman of Redcon Construction, Moustafa Kazamel, managing director of ASGC, and Muhammed Kazi, vice president of construction at DMG Events.
Commenting on the importance of the exhibition, Hannoura states, “The exhibition is an opportunity to meet all companies of various businesses and initiate discussions to enhance innovation, exchange information, and offer partnerships aim to implement more projects for both the government and the private sector in Egypt.”
Kazi says, “Since its first edition, The Big 5 Construct Egypt has always supported Egypt’s growth and expansion plans, by facilitating the public-private dialogue, connecting industry stakeholders, attracting international suppliers to Egypt, developing local talent, innovating sustainable solutions that contribute to the region’s infrastructure development and achieve the Egypt Vision 2030.”
On his part, Kazamel explains, “Egypt is predicted to account for 30% of the MENA construction market by the end of this decade.”
The exhibition includes over 230 exhibitors from 21 countries who will showcase their latest products, technologies, and services across the full construction cycle including Plant Machinery & Vehicles, Building Materials & Tools, MEP Services, Building Interiors & Finishings, and Smart Building Solutions, while visitors will be able to find what they are looking for.
Moreover, the event will host free-to-attend CPD certified talks covering critical themes: green buildings & climate change, challenges in planning infrastructure projects, how to increase your productivity using BIM, the application of FM standards from the design phase, and the strategic PMO: Transforming construction project delivery. Over 20 sessions will be offered in Engineering, Project Management, Facilities Management, and Sustainability.
The top-level agenda of the Big 5 Egypt Leadership Conference will include a keynote speech by Mudrick Soragha, Zanzibar’s Minister of State President’s Office Responsible for Economy and Investment.
Besides the exhibition, DMG Events hosts The Big 5 Egypt Impact Awards, celebrating people, organizations, and projects for their innovative ideas and continuous efforts to drive Egypt’s development and transformation. The top competing categories this year are Female Construction Leader of the Year, Sustainable Initiative of the Year, Innovation of the Year, and Smart City Initiative of the Year. The awards will be held on the last day of the exhibition and a list of 104 finalists can be found on the event’s website.
