The Big 5 show opened on Monday in Dubai and is expected to attract 75,000 visitors and participants, reported ME Construction News.

The show is expected to be the Middle East’s largest construction event with over 3,000 exhibitors, and will run until Thursday.

The exhibition is grouped into five product sectors, namely Building Interiors & Finishes, MEP Services, Building Envelop & Special Construction, Construction Tools & Building Materials and Smart Building & Design Technologies.

The event will also see the awarding of the GAIA Awards on Wednesday. The awards since 2008 honor companies with innovative products that demonstrate reduction of construction’s impact on the environment.
