During the first half of 2023, the Burj Khalifa area in downtown Dubai recorded 2,454 real estate sales transactions worth AED 10 bn, achieving an 11% growth compared to the same period last year, which recorded property sales worth AED 9 bn, Invest-Gate reports.
The sales in the Burj Khalifa area included five land transactions worth AED 702 mn. 2,080 apartments were sold, totaling AED 7.4 bn, of which 931 were sold off-plan for AED 4.3 bn.
DAMAC Elegance Tower project recorded the largest number of off-plan apartments sold in the Burj Khalifa area during the first half, with the sale of 231 apartments worth AED 555 mn, followed by the “Expo 2020 Living Residences” project with 149 apartments worth over AED 737 mn.
Burj Khalifa area also recorded the sale of 1,149 ready apartments worth more than AED 3 bn. Additionally, the area recorded the sale of 356 hotel apartments worth AED 1.6 bn, of which 46 were sold off-plan for AED 154 mn, while 310 ready hotel apartments were sold for a total value of AED 1.5 bn.
Moreover, the Burj Khalifa area recorded 13 office sales transactions worth more than AED 234 mn during the first half of this year.
