The 5th International Business Expo in Egypt, BiznEX Expo, concludes its activities in Cairo after the signing of over 60 agreements with a total value of EGP 865 mn, Invest-Gate reports.
The event is launched at Mamsha Ahl Masr under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Planning, Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA), and the General Authority for Investments (GAFI).
During the event, more than 60 agreements are signed between franchise companies and Egyptian companies and entrepreneurs.
The event includes over 15 symposiums, involving the participation of key thought leaders, CEOs, experts, and specialists in main economic sectors.
BiznEX Expo witnessed strong participation from Saudi Arabian investors resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement between Coffee Diwan Limited, owner of 1K brand, and franchise company Business Loop which aims to increase trade exchange between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
Under the agreement, Diwan aims to open 100 branches in Egypt and North Africa until 2030 with investments of EGP 350 mn.
Meanwhile, the Japanese restaurants Taiyaki inks two franchise agreements with total investments of EGP 2.8 mn for two new branches in Egypt.
Egypt’s Business Conference, B-Talks, is held for three days discussing business opportunities in different sectors and exploring the latest developments in the Egyptian business sector. The conference concludes with a group of significant recommendations that could reshape the franchising segment in Egypt and boost its contribution to the Egyptian economy.
Titled “Invest with Excellence,” BiznEX Expo 2022 attracts more than 50 exhibitors and over 10,000 versions.
In the past four years, Biznex has attracted over 35,000 visitors and 500 exhibitors and offered more than 450 business deals.
