Brassbell Hospitality Group has officially entered the Saudi Arabian market with the launch of Fanaya Hotel in Jeddah, the first property of the brand worldwide and the cornerstone of a broader multi-phase expansion strategy across the Kingdom, Invest-Gate reports.
The debut of Fanaya marks a significant milestone for Brassbell, reflecting its commitment to bringing design-led, culturally inspired hospitality concepts to Saudi Arabia at a time when the Kingdom’s tourism and hospitality sectors are evolving rapidly in line with Vision 2030. More than a new hotel opening, Fanaya serves as the foundation of an upcoming regional rollout that includes innovative hotel concepts, localized development collaborations, and experiential models shaped by the cultural identity of each Saudi city.
Anchored in a philosophy that merges art, craft, and community, Fanaya introduces a contemporary interpretation of lifestyle hospitality, drawing inspiration from the Arabic roots of fan, fanni, and fannaya. The hotel blends local heritage with modern design principles, creating a refined, immersive environment where creativity and cultural expression influence every element of the guest journey.
Fanaya’s spaces have been carefully curated to foster interaction and inspiration, including:
The Collectors’ Lounge — a combined art gallery and social salon that connects guests with the local creative scene.
The Atelier — a dynamic studio space hosting exhibitions, residencies, and creative programming.
The Supper Club — an intimate dining concept centered on shared experiences.
The Courtyard Café — a neighborhood-inspired café celebrating Jeddah’s culinary identity.
The Rooftop — an open-air venue for cultural nights, DJ sessions, and stargazing events.
The artistic identity of Fanaya was crafted by Kanjo Design House in Cairo, which led the hotel’s conceptual and interior design vision. Additional creative partners, including Kahhal 1871, lighting designer Noura Hakim, and Safarkhan Art Gallery — contributed bespoke rugs, lighting compositions, and contemporary installations that reinforce the hotel’s cultural narrative and sensory depth.
Fanaya Jeddah includes 51 artistically designed suites, each conceived as a visual and emotional chapter in the brand’s overarching story. The collection features Executive, Superior, and Signature Suites, along with a singular Royal Suite that embodies the full expression of the Fanaya identity.
The launch of Fanaya aligns with Brassbell Hospitality Group’s long-term expansion plan in Saudi Arabia. The company is currently in advanced discussions for two new Fanaya properties in Riyadh, underscoring its commitment to supporting the Kingdom’s growing cultural and lifestyle-driven hospitality landscape.
Ahmed Ibrahim, CEO and Chairman of Brassbell Hospitality Group, emphasized that the entry into Saudi Arabia marks a pivotal step in the company’s regional journey, highlighting the Kingdom’s emergence as one of the fastest-growing hospitality markets globally. He added that Fanaya Jeddah is the beginning of a new chapter in which Brassbell aims to redefine contemporary hospitality through destinations that seamlessly blend art, experience, and community.
