Egypt will reopen restaurants and cafés, along with cinemas and theatres, on June 27, on condition of operating at no more than 25% capacity, seemingly shortening nighttime curfew to begin from 12 midnight to 4 am, Invest-Gate reports.
While the state eases Coronavirus restrictions, it also calls on people to abide by the required precautionary measures, namely physical distancing, suspending the provision of shisha/hookah at dine-in places as a result, the Cabinet announced in a recent official statement, noting that commercial spots can close at 9 pm, while mass transportation will run from 4 am till 12 am.
Further, churches, mosques, and synagogues will reopen for worshippers to perform daily rituals only, not ceremonies or congregations, with respect to the social distancing restrictions and closure of indoor washrooms.
As for sports clubs and social facilities, the Cabinet underscored that the Ministry of Youth and Sports will soon announce the resumption dates, specifically for the Egyptian Premier League.
Meanwhile, public beaches and parks, as well as outdoor gardens, will remain closed to lessen overcrowding, the statement highlighted.
