A bridge linking Nakheel’s Deira Islands project to the Dubai mainland is set to be launched this week, according to the Dubai Media Office.

Dubai’s Road and Transportation Authority is to inaugurate the AED 150mn- bridge- project this Friday. The bridge project also includes road networks and transit systems, and a navigational lane beneath the bridge. Along the bridge, services implemented while others modified include new fish market marina, electricity network, sewage, asphalt, shifting and protecting the existing services.

Deira Islands is a  17mn-square-meter- mixed-use megaproject on four artificial islands off the coast of Dubai designed to offer housing and employment to over to 250,000 people.
