Egypt’s Ministry of Education and Technical Education has granted King’s School The Crown an operating license to teach the British curriculum, Invest-Gate reports.
The license allows King’s School The Crown, which is accredited by Cambridge Assessment International Education, to officially open this coming September at its campus in Palm Hills Development’s The Crown compound in west Cairo.
As part of the global Inspired Education Group, King’s School The Crown said it will implement best international educational practices and a global program including student exchanges, competitions, and teacher training.
Gradually accepting children from ages three months to 18 years old, the school will initially enroll students ages two and a half to 14 years old when it opens its doors on September 13. It employs specialized teachers starting at age five across all subjects.
King’s School The Crown emphasizes sports with facilities including an international standard football stadium built according to FIFA guidelines, ATP-certified tennis courts, a 25-m swimming pool, and an indoor gymnasium – amenities it said are unprecedented among schools in Cairo.
The school is considered one of Cairo’s top institutions for the British curriculum and aims to provide students with an international education through Inspired’s global network of over 100 schools worldwide.
