Burj Khalifa’s Home Sales Rise 16% YoY in 2022

Property sales in Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa increased by 16% YoY, as the world’s tallest building completes its 13th year, Invest-Gate reports.

A total of 94 apartments are sold in the tower in 2022 with a value of AED 477 mn, according to data released by UK’s real estate agency Knight Frank.

Burj Khalifa’s property sales account for 3% of all home sales in Dubai’s Downtown district during 2022.

Prime units sold at the tower reached a value of up to AED 4,000 per square foot, surpassing the emirate’s average value for prime properties, which amounts to AED 3,300 per square foot last year.

The Head of Middle East Research at Knight Frank, Faisal Durrani, notes that home sales at Burj Khalifa reach AED 7.9 bn since its opening.

According to data released by proptech company Realiste, the Dubaian real estate market is set to grow by 46% YoY in 2023.
