Cabinet approved a new law that combines the Social Housing Fund with the Real Estate Fund, in an aim to facilitate the process of providing homes to citizens with limited income, according to the cabinet statement released following their meeting earlier this week.

The cabinet also stated that it will be assigning tenders for the development of a land plot located in the industrial area to Al Nile for Desert Roads expected to construct a public service/ industrial project.

Cabinet has also reportedly agreed to assign contractors, official members of the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors, and tenders to develop special social housing projects in New Al Alamein City in order to meet social and economic development programs.
