Cairo Festival Collaborates with Misr El Kheir Foundation to Set Debtors Free

Cairo Festival City Mall and Misr El Kheir Foundation, for the fourth year in a row, collaborate to give debtors a second chance at financial freedom in honor of the holy month of Ramadan and international women’s empowerment month, Invest-Gate reports.

The partnership will provide a life-changing opportunity for those in need and demonstrate the power of collaboration in making a positive impact on society as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, Festival Cares.

The initiative is aligned with the state’s direction, its political leadership, as well as President El-Sisi’s recent announcement to pardon all indebted men and women.

Cairo Festival City Mall celebrates the holy month of Ramadan by reaffirming its dedication to nurturing strong family bonds, with a special focus on honoring the unsung heroes – mothers. The mall recognizes the pivotal role that mothers play in building and strengthening families, and is committed to providing an environment that supports, inspires, and uplifts Egyptian families.

Heba Abdallah, Head of Marketing at Cairo Festival City Mall, says: “As we embark on our fourth year of partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation, we couldn’t be more delighted to play our part in supporting our community. Together, we are relieving the burden of debt for those in need and empowering women in our society.”

For her part, Amal Mobadda, Fundraising Sector’s CEO and Director at Misr El Kheir Foundation, comments that Misr El Kheir considers Cairo Festival City Mall a strategic partner, highlighting its exerted efforts in the field of social responsibility.

Mobadda further notes that the extended cooperation between the two entities aims to develop Egyptian society and provide a decent life for citizens, with significant regard to settling debts and bringing families together during the holy month of Ramadan.

It is worth noting that Misr El-Khair Foundation has been working on releasing debtors for nearly 12 years, in which more than 72,000 debtors were released, in addition to empowering them economically in an attempt to support the family and settle down.
