Cameroon’s Minister of Housing and Urban Development Celestine Kecha and Cameroonian Ambassador Mohamadou Labarang visited development projects in Cairo including Maspero Triangle, Sur Magra El-Ayoun, and Ain El-Sira Lake, Invest-Gate reports.
The high-ranking officials were accompanied by Mohamed El Ghamrawy, the Head of the Maspero Triangle Development Authority, as well as other housing officials.
Kecha praised Egypt’s efforts in transforming unsafe areas into modern districts achieving citizen quality of life. She stated that Cameroon hoped to benefit from Egyptian technical know-how for its projects.
Furthermore, the delegation toured projects that once lacked services but are now civilized areas meeting needs.
Sur Magra El-Ayoun project includes buildings, a hotel, a mall, cinemas, and a theatre, El Ghamrawy clarified, adding that the Ain Al-Sira Lake’s development transformed a waste dump into parks in front of the Grand Egyptian Museum housing royal mummies.
