Capital Group Properties (CGP), owned by Abu Dhabi Capital Group (ADCG) and Al Ain Properties, has announced the inauguration of “Alburouj Cultural Hub” at its Alburouj project in El Shorouk city, Invest-Gate reports.
CGP celebrated the official launch of the hub in a classical opening performance on October 11, where the legendary Omar Khairat and Egyptian composer Ramzi Yassa took the stage for a round of musical pieces, according to the company’s official Facebook page.
The hub is developed in cooperation with Cairo’s El Sawy Culture Wheel. “In appreciation of El Sawy Culture Wheel and its cultural input in Egypt, we hired one of the world-renowned designers and have invested nearly EGP 80 mn in one of the most fantastic buildings of the world,” the company’s Deputy CEO Amgad Hassanein previously told Invest-Gate.
Hassanien earlier stated that CGP will sign two contracts worth EGP 1.5 bn before the end of 2018 to develop Alburouj project, bringing its total contracts to almost EGP 6.5 bn, according to Al Ahram A Iktisadi news website.
“The first EGP 1 bn contract entails the establishment of a smart village, while the second is for constructing Sheikh Zayed Mosque with investments worth EGP 500 mn,” the CEO elucidated.
