Egypt’s real estate developer Castle Developments has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Schneider Electric to provide energy management and automation to the former’s latest project, Castle Landmark, in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Invest-Gate reports.
Under the agreement, Schneider Electric will employ its innovative solutions in building and designing smart facilities to manage levels of energy consumption, as well as provide safe, efficient, and environmentally-friendly products, according to a press release on February 17.
The multinational corporation’s services will include electricity, water, gas, data networks, data centers, traffic, as well as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and security and control center, it added.
Castle Development CEO Ahmed Mansour said, “We work to take full advantage of modern innovations in managing levels of energy consumption as well as preserve the environment in our projects…We aim for our projects to illustrate an integrated model that combines innovative design, comprehensive services, and distinguished management of all infrastructure components in order to provide premium service and cater to the requirements of all customers.”
In February, the real estate company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Ashi and Bushnag Company (ABC) to provide consulting and facility management (FM) services to the former’s flagship project, Castle Landmark.
