Cairo Capital Developments (CCD) plans to launch the first phase of a new project, named “Lake West,” in Sheikh Zayed next April, Invest-Gate reports.
This announcement came after the company gets the ministerial approval for the project, which is slated for delivery in 2021, the company said in a recent statement.
Spanning over 22 acres, the project includes 120 villas only, with areas ranging from 265 to 500 square meters and unit prices starting from EGP 3.5 mn, the company’s CEO Ahmed Selim noted.
Selim elucidated that the project’s built-up area represents only 15% of the total, while the remaining is allocated for green landscape as well as the services area.
“The cancellation of the Cityscape Egypt Exhibition will not affect the developers’ plans nor clients’ willingness to buy at this time of the year,” he highlighted. Selim noted that holding the exhibition in the second half of 2020 will boost real estate sales.
Informa Markets, the organizers of Cityscape Egypt, postpones this year’s edition of the exhibition, which was supposed to be held in mid-March, until further notice following the cabinet’s announcement of suspending all major public gatherings, in fear of spreading COVID-19.
