Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities announces that the ministry’s Central Agency for Reconstruction (CAR) completed 51 projects in Kafr El-Sheikh’s Matoubas city, as a part of the first phase of the Decent Life initiative to develop Egyptian countryside, Invest-Gate reports.
El-Gazzar notes that the CAR implements projects in 25 cities in 10 governorates including over 740 villages and their suburbs in the first phase of the Decent Life initiative.
Head of CAR, Mahmoud Nassar, reveals that the planned and underway projects in Matoubas city include building 5 service complexes and 5 agriculture services complexes.
The projects also include constructing 6 youth centers and upgrading another 9, Nassar adds.
He notes that Decent Life projects in Matoubas comprise building 12 medical centers and a central hospital according to the Universal Healthcare System.
Furthermore, Nassar unveils that the projects incorporate constructing 18 Decent Housing residential buildings and developing and upgrading electricity networks and street lighting in all villages.
