City Centre Almaza Officially Opens to Public

UAE-based real estate developer and retail giant Majid Al Futtaim officially opened the doors of its EGP 9.35 bn City Centre Almaza shopping mall in Heliopolis, east Cairo, on September 30, Invest-Gate reports.

Located across 103,000 square meters at the intersection of the Cairo-Suez and Nasr Roads, City Centre Almaza boasts a variety of retail and dining outlets, including over 260 local and international fashion and lifestyle brands such as Hugo Boss, Emporio Armani, alongside a lineup of exceptional dining and leisure facilities.

Majid Al Futtaim announced earlier that the new mega center will feature a 13,040-square-meter Carrefour Hypermarket, a 1,800-square-meter family entertainment hub, called “Magic Planet,” along with 16 screens of VOX Cinemas.

City Centre Almaza is the developer’s 14th mall coming under the City Centre brand, which is the largest chain of shopping centers in the Middle East, operated by Majid Al Futtaim. Besides, the property developer strives to secure a LEED-Gold rating for exceptional performance in energy and water conservation.

In 2016, Majid Al Futtaim laid the foundation for City Centre Almaza, adding up to its vast portfolio of projects in Egypt, which includes three additional shopping malls: Mall of Egypt, City Centre Maadi, and City Centre Alexandria.
