City Edge Developments, one of Egypt’s leading real estate companies, has announced the launch of the commercial phase of its V40 District project in New Cairo, Invest-Gate reports.

Spanning 20 feddans and with total investments of EGP 17 bn, the phase includes commercial, administrative, and medical units, along with a range of services designed to meet the needs of project clients and East Cairo residents.

The launch aligns with City Edge Developments’ strategy to develop fully integrated residential communities that contribute to urban development in Egypt’s new cities. The company aims to support Egypt’s 2052 national urban development plan by increasing livable areas and expanding its portfolio with mixed-use commercial projects.

The commercial phase of V40 District marks City Edge’s first step into fully serviced commercial projects in New Cairo. It includes retail units up to 800 sqm, aiming to attract major retailers, cafés, and restaurants. The project’s location on key roads ensures accessibility, while its unit designs offer a unique shopping experience.

It also features shell-and-core administrative offices with flexible layouts tailored to startups and large firms, in low-rise buildings designed to foster productivity and creativity. In addition, it includes fully finished and shell-and-core multi-specialty medical centers across different floors.
