City Edge Developments Reveals Latest Updates on New Garden City Project in NAC’s R5 Area

In conjunction with the official opening of the first phase of the New Administrative Capital (NAC), coinciding with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi taking the constitutional oath for a new presidential term, City Edge Developments has announced the latest progress in the construction operations of its latest project in the NAC, the New Garden City, Invest-Gate reports.

The New Garden City is strategically located in the first phase of the NAC, between the Central Ring Road and the Regional Ring Road of the southern Bin Zayed Axis. Covering an area of 885 feddans, the project’s total investments amount to EGP200 bn. The project consists of nine phases, which will be sold over a five-year period until 2029.

The project has achieved a completion rate of 100% for concrete structures and 60% for finishes. The networks and facilities have reached a completion rate of 63.6%, roads have reached 94%, and earthworks, landscaping, and road furnishings have reached 27.4%.

The first phase of the project is expected to be delivered in August. The project comprises 278 residential buildings with a total of 21,471 units, 107 mixed residential buildings with 633 commercial units, 107 villas, and 134 townhouses and twin houses with a total of 459 units. The entire project includes 22,563 units.

Mohamed Eldahan, CEO of City Edge Developments, commented on the latest developments in the New Garden City project, stating, “The first phase of the New Garden City project (Garden City Heights) has received significant demand from customers for residential units.”

“The project stands out due to its strategic location, situated between the Central Ring Road and the Regional Ring Road of the southern Bin Zayed axis, adjacent to the R6 and R4 districts, and in close proximity to key landmarks of the NAC, vital facilities such as hotels and sports clubs, as well as Hertfordshire International University. It is also located near the Central Business District, the Green River, and the iconic tower,” Eldahan added.
