City Edge Developments (CED) has launched its newest residential project in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Baroque, during its participation in Cityscape Egypt at Egypt International Exhibition Centre (EIEC) from March 27 to 30, Invest-Gate reports.
Located at the NAC’s R5 district, Baroque stretches over 250 acres, 80% of which are allocated to roads, piazzas, parks, and open spaces, while residential buildings account for only 20% of the total area and offer two-to-four-room apartments, ranging from 100 to 300 square meters, according to a press release on March 27.
Baroque, CED’s second residential project in the NAC, is designed to “revive the Khedivial Down Town Cairo with its unique architecture, gardens, roundabouts, and streets,” the company said, noting that these special and exclusive characteristics are aimed at luring inhabitants seeking classical and vintage designs.
The compound is adjacent to the NAC’s Canadian University, sports city, smart city, as well as, the presidential palace and embassies district, while having easy access to the new city’s main roads.
In its statement, CED underlined that “Baroque” refers to an architectural style that was primarily known during the Renaissance period and was famous for its domes, massive use of decoration and ornaments, and picky attention to details.
