Cityscape 2017 kicks off amid bullish demand from developers

The sixth edition of the Cityscape conference and exhibition kicks off today as property developers are bullish on market trends, preparing to reveal hundreds of new real estate investment opportunities as well as exchange views on the latest global developments in the field.

The developers will present several offers and discounts on all residential units, including apartments and villas overlooking special green spaces.

They will also offer a detailed explanation about their housing projects in Egypt’s upscale districts which capitalize on green spaces in urban development, a predominant trend in this year’s projects.

The property developers will shed light on projects in New Cairo, which is one of the promising areas in Egypt. The area, located between upscale districts Maadi and Heliopolis, will host about 5 mn people once entirely developed and will also include Egypt’s largest garden.

During the exhibition, Egyptian real estate developer Hyde Park will reveal the second phase of its “Park Corner” project in New Cairo. The project spans an area of 235,000 square meters and  will be completed within three years.

Egyptian developer Ardic for Real Estate Development and Investments will also reveal its “Zizinia El Mostakbal” project in New Cairo which hosts solar-powered residential units. The project, which also includes a green mosque, kindergarten and bicycle lanes, is due to be delivered by 2020.

Another leading real estate developer, Talaat Mostafa, will present its “Madinaty” project in New Cairo encompassing spacious green spaces, golf courts, educational institutions, hospitals, villas and apartments. Once completely developed, the project will host 600,000 residents.

A total of 90 top real estate developers are taking part in the exhibition, which will be open to visitors on March 31 until April 3. The conference, which is gathering top speakers from both the government, developers and world experts, starts today and is due to conclude on March 30.
