The virtual Cityscape Egypt Conference concludes on April 6 with prominent real estate experts from around the world to provide insight into Egypt’s future economy, investments and real estate sector, Invest-Gate reports.
The second and final day commences with opening remarks from Fathallah Fawzy, co-founder MENA Group and chairman of Cityscape Egypt.
With the disruption of 2020 on the tourism and hospitality sector, the first panel takes a look on Egypt’s hotel development in the post COVID-19 era and how the industry is pivoting towards a new reality of reinvention and reimagining of hotel spaces.
Subsequently, panelists shed light on infrastructure and driving mobility, why recovery will depend on reinvention and innovation, what will the metropolitan experience look like in the 21st century, and finally, alternative sources for real estate investment. The break out sessions include the accurate methodologies of land valuation and a guide to investing in co-working in Egypt.
With the conclusion of the conference, the attendees stress the importance of the role of the private sector to achieve the objectives of urban development, while “submitting the conference recommendations to government officials in urban development and follow-up communication to ensure the achievement of the required changes and presenting what has been achieved in the old City Cast Conference,” Teneshia Naidoo, Cityscape’s head of content, says in the conference’s closing remarks.
