Cleopatra Hospital Forms JV to Revamp Beni Suef’s Nahda Hospital

Egypt-based Cleopatra Hospital Group (CHG) has inked a joint venture (JV) agreement with Nahda University for Education and Management and Taaleem Management Services to renovate and operate Nahda Hospital in Beni Suef, with investments up to EGP 360 mn, Invest-Gate reports.

“Conceptual and schematic designs of the hospital have been finalized, with the facility set to feature five operating theatres and 198 beds. The revamping of Nahda Hospital in Beni Suef, CHG’s first medical facility outside Greater Cairo, is aimed at expanding the group‘s reach to more underserved regions nationwide, “serving a catchment area in excess of 3 mn people, while feeding more complex cases to CHG’s established reference hospital network in Greater Cairo,” according to the statement.

CHG is the largest private hospital group in Egypt, operating a diverse range of medical facilities in Greater Cairo and holding majority stakes in five leading hospitals, namely Cleopatra Hospital, Cairo Specialized Hospital, Nile Badrawi Hospital, Al Shorouk Hospital, and Queens Hospital, offering an array of general and emergency healthcare services.
