The concrete works of the sewage plant, a part of the rehabilitation and expansion project of the main treatment plant, in the New Nubaria City is underway, according to Magdy Youssef, head of the New Nubaria City Development Authority, Invest- Gate reports.

Youssef notes that the concrete structure is ongoing based on a stipulated timetable. Additionally, the industrial cast iron parts for the balancing basins, the entrance unit, and the filters are installed, in addition, the cretal iron for doors and windows for all plants have been manufactured.

Moreover, he remarks that the finishing works for all buildings, as well as the air and washing rooms for the ejection line, are ongoing, according to the directives of Assem El Gazzar, Ministry of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities.

It is noteworthy that the Arab Contractors Company is responsible for the main treatment plant in the New Nubaria City since 2010, with investments of about EGP 324 mn, and a total capacity of 22,000 m3\day. Furthermore, the National Research Center was assigned to assess the station’s technicality for rehabilitation, to boost the capacity to 28,500 m3/day.
