Egyptian construction material exports have been on a steady rise since the flotation of the EGP in November, Invest-Gate reports.
“There has been an increase of 478% in construction material exports in February, compared to one month earlier,” Walid Gamal Eddin, the head of the Construction Material Export Council, says in a statement.
Gamal Eddin adds that Egypt exported construction materials worth EGP 7.6 bn in February.
This is the highest volume of construction material exports in the history of the construction materials sector, Eddin notes.
He also refers to a plan by the Construction Materials Export Council to make its presence felt in exhibitions globally with the aim of increasing exports even more.
