A total of 216 residential units have been completed out of the total 4,892 units within a housing project located in New Qena, according to Minister of Housing, Utitlities, and Urban Development Mostafa Madbouly, reported Invest-Gate.
Facilities are also being constructed in the project, including a hospital with 175 beds that will be built on land measuring six acres in area of Al Nawadi, located north of the first district, as well as a school that contains residential dorms, a nursery, building for car licensing, an administrative building, mosque, service building, commercial building and a security surveillance building, according to Ahmed Arafa, the Head of the New Qena Development Authority.
The project will also include a youth center that will be built on 15 acres and will contain a mixed-use building, a sports court, a mosque, and locker rooms.
Construction is also commenced for another sports court and a nursery that will serve 30 buildings, and another court located north of the first district of the neighborhood, a paramedics building, and a school in the second district of the city, Arafa told Invest-Gate.
