Construction on the AED 30 bn Dubai Wholesale City project has kicked off with excavation works, according to Arabian Business.
Dubai Wholesale City, a member of the TECOM Group, announced it has appointed Port Saeed Transport & Building Contracting Company to execute levelling, grading and excavation works on an area of over 135 mn square feet.
The mega project was launched in March and will eventually span over 550 mn square feet. TECOM aims to increase the UAE’s share in the wholesale trade sector, which is expected to grow over the coming years.
