Construction is expected to commence on 1,200 residential units in December, as part of the first phase of Tatweer Misr’s Il Monte Galala project in Ain Sokhna, reported Al Mal News.
The project is expected to include 1800 units, alongside a hotel that will be managed by Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas, and will cost EGP 1 billion, according to Ahmed Shalaby, a board member at Tatweer Misr.
The hotel is expected to include 100 rooms and 60 touristic apartments, and is scheduled to open its doors in 2022.
Il Monte Galala is being constructed on 2.2 million square meters located in Ain Sokhna, with EGP 8 billion worth of investments. The project is set to have 5,000 units upon completion.
The project was previously granted a Cityscape award for best residential project in the low heights category in 2016, from among 25 other competitors.
