Cornerstone Makes Debut with 1st Project in NAC

Egypt’s property developer Cornerstone Development has made debut with its first project in the Egyptian real estate market, “The Curve,” located in the New Administrative Capital (NAC), Invest-Gate reports.

The compound, which will start deliveries in mid-2023, is conveniently situated in NAC’s R8 District, in front of the Green River, while being a few minutes away from the Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Capital International Airport, Presidential Palace, and ministries’ headquarter, according to a recent press release.

With unit sizes varying between 90 and 300 square meters, The Curve offers designs by one of the largest consultancy offices in New York City (NYC). Residential properties will be handed over with a “Flexi Finish” system, which gives residents the freedom to finalize the decoration, lighting, and floors, the statement added.

Ashraf Boulos, the company’s chairman and managing director, explained that Cornerstone promises to offer real estate at competitive prices and flexible payment plans, ranging from five up to six years, in addition to providing luxury properties to build up customers’ confidence in the brand.

Through this project, “Cornerstone will restore the glamour of old buildings with high ceilings and revive the cultural heritage through the social club by allocating halls for painting, exhibitions, cinemas, and meeting rooms, in order to provide an ideal life for its residents. With a small garden on each building’s third floor, customers will be privileged to meet their friends, gather, or do various activities,” Boulos was quoted as saying.

He pointed out that the built-in area of The Curve is 18% of the project, less than the allowed 22.5%. Apart from the residential component, the integrated compound provides commercial, administrative, cultural, and sports services by establishing a mall, an administrative building, and extensive green spaces.

With an authorized capital of EGP 600 mn, Cornerstone holds a strong foundation to consolidate its name among the leading Egypt-based property developers in the near future. It eyes key areas such as the expansion of real estate projects in NAC, alongside studying the promising opportunities in coastal cities, especially New Alamein and Ain Sokhna, the chairman underlined.
