DAMAC Initiates Further Construction Work at AKOYA Oxygen

UAE’s real estate developer DAMAC Properties has started further construction works in October worth AED 350 mn at its residential community development, AKOYA Oxygen, Invest-Gate reports.

This comes after its recent AED 628 mn contract awarded to Arabtec Construction in August to develop 1,296 villas at AKOYA Oxygen, according to a statement.

“DAMAC continues to initiate major construction projects at AKOYA Oxygen to accelerate development to ready its 55-mn square-foot green development in Dubailand to welcome its first residents as early as possible,” according to Senior Vice President of Commercial at DAMAC Properties Mohammed Tahaineh.

Towers Technology Contracting Co. is carrying out main works for 448 villas at AKOYA Oxygen, while Nael Construction and Contracting is building the roads and infrastructure network linking various clusters in phase six within the community and to the main road network around it.
