DAMAC Properties has begun handovers at “Claret,” a cluster of its landmark 55 mn square-feet master development in Dubai, dubbed AKOYA, Invest-Gate reports.

Following all handovers at Claret, which consists of 315 townhouses,  DAMAC is committed to delivering over 1,300 homes across other clusters in the coming months, according to a press release on July 2.

Construction works at AKOYA are in full swing, spurred by a slew of contracts that the developer has awarded over the last two years. All internal roadways have been constructed, and the highly-anticipated community center is in the final stages of completion, the statement noted.

The community will also see the opening of a Carrefour Market by year-end, while featuring the best in class amenities such as health clubs, swimming pools, schools, pharmacy, and world-class dining and shopping options.

Ali Sajwani, general manager of operations at DAMAC Properties, stated, “AKOYA is a very special project and we are thrilled to welcome the first residents to their modern townhouses in Claret. Located along the Umm Suqeim Expressway, AKOYA is just 30 minutes away from Dubai’s City Center and has won multiple awards, including “Best Golf Course Development” at the International Property Awards and “Best Golf Course” for Trump World Golf Club Dubai.
