Egyptian real estate developer Tamer El-Khouly has been chosen as a strategic partner for the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Reuters-affiliated website Zawya reports.
This comes as a recognition of the size of real estate and infrastructure projects that El-Khouly contributed to in Côte d’Ivoire.
El-Khouly has been invited, alongside other distinctive Egyptian businessmen, to attend the official launching of the ‘Ivorian week in the world’ in early August, where he will be formally honored as a strategic partner of the state.
The property expert expressed his happiness for Côte d’Ivoire’s appreciation of his endeavors amid his five years of working in “developing the infrastructure, establishing housing units, and entering into partnerships with the government with investments worth over EUR 800 mn.”
“More than 15% of the used materials and products were imported from Egypt,” El-Khouly says in a press statement, adding that there are an abundance of promising opportunities for investment and economic cooperation between Egypt and other West African countries.
In his statement, El-Khouly advises Egyptian businessmen and investors to move effectively and exploit the available opportunities which will be an added value to the Egyptian economy and support opening up diverse markets for Egyptian products in various fields.
