Hassan El-Far, Chairman of Development and Housing Company for Utilities (DHCU), reveals recent developments in the Decent Life projects in Kafr El-Shaikh and Gharbia, Invest-Gate reports.

The company is set to deliver projects in the two governorates in December 2022.

El-Far notes that the completion rates of projects in Gharbia and Kafr El-Shaikh reach 85% and 70%, respectively.

He says that the company executes sanitation, water, and infrastructure projects in 14 villages under the Decent Life initiative, with an estimated cost of EGP 750 mn.

The initiative was announced by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and aims to improve the lives of around 58 mn Egyptians in rural areas, with a cost of over EGP 500 bn.
