DEWA, Siemens Ink Contract Worth AED 1.7 bn

UAE state-owned infrastructure company Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and German industrial group Siemens sign an operating plant service agreement (OPSA) worth AED 1.7 bn, Invest-Gate reports.

Under the 12-ear deal, Siemens will provide maintenance works, spare parts, and gas turbine rehabilitation for the second phase of K-Station at Jebel Ali Power and Desalination Station, in addition to the third phase of H-Station at the Al-Aweer Power Station.

DEWA also prolonged the long-term maintenance plan (LTMP), for the second phase of L-Station, for seven more years.
