DLD Issues New Regulations For Real Estate Agents

Dubai Land Department (DLD) announces new regulations for the relationship between owners and brokers, according to a statement by the DLD on Sunday.

The Real Estate Regulatory Agency is to ensure that owners are authorized to deal with brokers either exclusively or with more than one when marketing any given property.

The new regulations reinstate the use of Form A, which has been in existence for quite a while but had fallen out of use, as a prerequisite to allowing the broker to market a property. It has to be signed by both parties and still allows the landlord to deal with more than one broker, reported Arabian Business.
