DLD to Issue New Mechanism to Market Properties Abroad

DLD to Issue New Mechanism to Market Properties Abroad

Dubai Land Department (DLD) is to market properties abroad through mechanisms designed to protect residents, who are interested in investing in real estate abroad, Invest-Gate reports.

“It encourages real estate brokers to be accurate and cautious in any campaigns that promote properties abroad, and advises everyone to follow the correct legal procedures, regardless of the contracting parties, and deal with accredited brokerage offices,” says  Director of the Real Estate Licensing Department in DLD Ali Abduallah Al Ali.

According to the newly adapted system, any permits for any announcements concerning properties need to be obtained via DLD’s Tarkheesi system, statement reads.

Companies are not allowed to promote any property outside UAE without acquiring DLD’s permission; potential buyers must also comply with legal procedures outlined in the country concerned and preview the property before payment transactions.
