Dubai Properties (DP) announced that the Marasi Business Bay Promenade will launch in November, just as planned, according to Trade Arabia.
The inauguration of the 12-kilometer-long promenade will coincide with the opening of the Dubai Water Canal, built by the Roads and Transport Authority. Dubai Properties, a master developer and asset manager, stated that more than 10 kilometers of the project, including the surrounding infrastructure, have been completed to date.
The promenade is part of the wider Marasi Business Bay project, which is a $272 million mixed-use development. It will include water homes: houses anchored in the water and accessible via piers and walkways.
The project is scheduled to complete by 2023, with its first phase to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2017. This phase will consist of the first two themed areas of Marasi – The Marina and The Park. By 2023 these will be joined by The Pier, the third themed area.
