Dubai Creek Harbour To Deliver First Homes in Q1 2019

Dubai-based developer Emaar has unveiled that the first residential units in the upcoming six square kilometer mega-development Dubai Creek Harbour will be delivered in Q1 2019, Invest-Gate reports.

With the project currently 90% complete, the Dubai Creek Residences is the first residential destination in the master development and comprises 872 units, according to a company’s statement.

The six-tower residential development features panoramas over the Dubai Creek Harbour and Downtown Dubai on the opposite side of the Dubai Creek

Nestled between a yacht club, pools, a marina and a boulevard, the project will be a Riviera-style neighborhood in Creek Island Dubai, which Emaar describes as the premier district in Dubai Creek Harbour. More than 4,000 residents are expected to start moving into their homes upon its completion.

The Creek Island Dubai is a waterfront island destination that will be home to over 33,500 residents. It will be linked to the mainland by no less than three bridges, ensuring seamless connectivity and mobility, the statement adds.

Work on the other residential developments launched in the island is also progressing as per schedule, including Creekside 18, which comprises 500 apartments and is scheduled for completion in in the first half of 2020, with over 40% of construction works completed.

About 20% of the construction has been finished on Creek Horizon, featuring 556 apartments to be delivered in mid-2020, and The Cove, a low-rise waterfront sanctuary, with 276 apartments, is also on track to be delivered in the first half of 2020.

“Other upcoming residential developments in Creek Island Dubai, launched to positive investor response, are Creek Gate (490 apartments); Creek Rise (543 apartments) and Harbour Gate (505 homes). Construction is progressing on these too, with about 15% construction complete, milestones being set as per schedule and hand over throughout 2020,” the statement said.

It is worth mentioning that Emaar has manifested significant progress in the construction of the Dubai Creek Tower too. Last May, the concrete placement for the tower’s pile cap was completed two months ahead of schedule.
