The number of hotel apartments in Dubai totaled 25,500 units within 193 properties by the end of May, according to statistics from Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism.

The data showed that the hotel apartments were divided between 12,940 luxury hotel apartments within 82 properties and 12,520 medium hotel apartments within 111 properties.

Hotel apartments accounted for 17.12% of the total number of hotel rooms in Dubai and achieved an occupancy rate of 84% in luxurious hotel apartments and 85% in medium hotel apartments, witnessing rising demand from local and Gulf families.

According to the data, hotel apartments recorded the highest occupancy rates in the first five months of this year compared to other hotel categories.
