The Dubai Media Office on Wednesday announced plans for the AED 1.1 bn Cityland Mall project, be developed by Cityland Group, which has previously built the Dubai Miracle Garden and Dubai Butterfly Garden among other developments.

The project will consist of several amenities, retail areas of 1.13 mn square feet and a 200,000 square feet open-air garden, dubbed Central Park, in the middle of the 2.2 mn square feet development. The mall is expected to attract 12 mn visitors annually after its completion in the second quarter of 2018.
