Dubai Records AED 9.2 bn Real Estate Transactions within 2 Days

In just two days, real estate transactions in Dubai surpassed AED 9 bn, reaching a total of AED 9.2 bn, Invest-Gate reports.

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) reported that on Tuesday, transactions worth over AED 4.64 bn were completed through 1,165 transactions, while on Monday, AED 4.56 bn was recorded.

On Tuesday, the DLD registered 977 sales amounting to AED 3.32 bn, including 155 land sales, 781 sales of residential units, and 41 sales of buildings. The Wadi Al Safa 7 area led in terms of sales value, with AED 579 mn from 73 deals.

The Business Bay area ranked second with a value of AED 392 mn from 88 deals, followed by the Jumeirah Lakes Towers area with AED 245 mn from 135 deals. The Dubai Maritime City area secured the fourth spot with three deals worth AED 217 mn.

Mortgages, on the other hand, reached a value of AED 1.19 bn through 148 transactions, including 38 mortgages for land, 110 mortgages for residential units, and 21 mortgages for buildings. The market also witnessed 40 donations amounting to AED 132 mn.

Additionally, on Monday, two apartments were sold for a combined value of AED 270 mn. The total real estate transactions at the DLD on Monday exceeded AED 4.56 bn, completed through 1,465 transactions. Among these, 1,234 sales were registered, totaling AED 2.8 bn. This figure includes 125 land sales, 1,037 sales of housing units, and 72 sales of buildings.
